These terms apply to purchases made through Books by Vanessa Aradia.

2. Products
We aim to describe and display all books and other products as accurately as possible. Minor differences in colour, finish, paper or appearance may occur between images shown online and the physical product supplied.
Product availability may change and some products may be offered for pre-order before publication or dispatch.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated.
Delivery charges are shown separately and are confirmed before you complete your order.
4. Placing an order
When you place an order, you will receive an electronic confirmation.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where there is a genuine pricing error, payment problem, suspected fraud, stock issue or other reasonable reason preventing fulfilment. If payment has already been taken for an order we cannot fulfil, it will be refunded.
5. Pre-orders
Products described as pre-orders are purchased before their dispatch date.
The expected dispatch date will be displayed on the relevant product page. For Work Smart, Live Well, pre-orders are expected to begin dispatching from 1 October 2026.
If there is a significant change to an expected dispatch date, we will contact affected customers using the email address provided with the order.
Pre-orders may be cancelled before dispatch by contacting books@vanessaaradia.com.
6. Delivery
Available delivery methods and charges are displayed at checkout.
Delivery times begin from dispatch. A delivery estimate shown for a shipping service does not override the stated dispatch date of a pre-order.
Please ensure that the delivery address supplied when ordering is complete and accurate.
7. Returns, cancellations and refunds
Consumer cancellation and return rights are described in our Return and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
8. Damaged, faulty or incorrect products
If a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or incorrectly supplied, please contact books@vanessaaradia.com with your order details so that the matter can be resolved.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
9. Intellectual property
The books, written content, illustrations, designs, trademarks and other material sold or displayed through this shop remain protected by applicable intellectual property rights.
Purchasing a book or product does not transfer copyright or any other intellectual property rights in its contents.
10. Personal information
Personal information provided when using this shop is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the shop, products, services or applicable requirements. The terms applying to an order are those in effect when that order is placed.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales. Nothing in this clause limits any mandatory consumer rights that may apply to customers elsewhere.
